The Supergirl viewers who just hatewatch the show and bitch about every single ass little thing while praising the other male led dctv shows to the sun and back for providing bare amounts of representation (and that too as a love interest) and a storyline to a female character which is just short of bullshit and yet will complain about every single damn storyline in supergirl- like the absolutely pointless discussion regarding comics canon on whether the blue star gives or enhances powers of a kryptonian, like has arrowverse ever accurately followed comics canon, like ever or the fact that DC changes the rules of its universe with every damn reboot.

People will talk about mental health and yet bitch on the show about how this Kara is not the ‘real one’ and refuse to admit the fact that she has PTSD and then say that the writers have bad writing skills just cause they don’t admit your pointless headcanons as canon (which btw are supposed to stay in those fandom liminal spaces).

People will forgive a white male actor for saying a racist statement and praise him and his show to hell and yet will not give a woman a second chance, for saying something which was said in the heat of the moment in SDCC.

Like why is the standard so so high for supergirl which is actually the only show which actually tries to do things the right way. All this those folks do, it’s not criticism, it’s plain hate nitpicking and nothing else.
